Hey. I’m Angie. I grew up in the 90’s making potions out of hand picked flower petals, leaves and well water. We created our own magic growing up. We had to. Now, I love early 2000's emo music (it's not a phase), being cozy, caring for my plants, spending time with the folks I love and finding the sparkly bits in my day to day. I’m an introvert and totally anxious. I love learning about the enneagram. I’m a 9—what are you?! Also obsessed with animals of all kinds, so yeah—definitely bring your dog. My dream is to live in the mountains or desert, I love documenting our travels through landscape photography, as well.
I don’t want to be the best photographer. I want to be the best photographer, for you. To be the right fit. My goal is to create a time capsule just for you that only grows in value as new days are placed between you and all of your important milestones. I seek to create simple, timeless, detail oriented images of your newborn, your child or your family. Connection is magnetic. Connection is magic, and so are you.
I just want to you feel like you can be yourself in our time together, because the loudest way to love someone is to encourage them to be who they are. Who they really are.
My studio is located on the edge of Owatonna where our newborn, milestone & family sessions occur. Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully we will meet sometime soon & I will take your picture.

Welcome to my studio! This is my favorite little corner of Owatonna, I've been at my studio for 7 years and it's been the perfect home for my business.
This is meant to be a comfort-centered space where families may arrive, explore, play and be themselves. Sessions are not rushed, I do not believe in 15 minute sessions. The best sessions happen when we allow space for things to unfold on their own, without pressure or expectation. The studio is adorned with minimalist but classic styling, so you may mix and match colors and styles that suit you as a family. Your photos should be more of a representation of you, than of me; with the goal to create modern heirlooms just for you, I want your personalities to be the star of our session. You are worth documenting, just as you are. You don't need to be somebody else here.
The studio is stocked with a mini client closet for all of our clients about 2 and younger. I've curated a perfect wardrobe with styles that can mix and match for a variety of looks with a consistent vibe. Most clients bring their babies in jammies--no shopping needed!
Older than 2 and need styling help? Reach out and I would be happy to help you incorporate pieces from your own wardrobe for a session that could only be yours, with your style and quirks! You do not need to purchase a whole new outfit for photos, I promise you already have amazing pieces in your closet that showcase your individuality!

For clients who opt for a more personal portrait session, I love working to create a meaningful gallery in a special place. This could be your home, a family farm, or home away from home. There's something special about creating photographs in our own safe spaces. My space is a reflection of my personality, the things that I love, and I know many of my clients share the same love of design and individuality.
In 20 years, the images that will mean the most will be the ones where you can see and feel your loved one's personality. The things you might forget. Our lifestyle sessions are never perfect, but that's part of the magic. Things don't have to be perfect to be noticed, admired or thought to be worth documenting. Life is short--it's the in-between moments that count. Photographs are so often of our very best days, they hold us through some of our worst.
